Love - that is a little word for such a huge feeling. I know this about love - it opens your heart, it opens your mind, it makes you see and do things in a different way. It can make you move miles to be nearer to it, it can wake you up at night from a sound sleep and it can make you cry with joy. But love also has a bite to it. Sometimes it takes a little nibble other times it takes a full on ravenous chunk. This is such a curious exercise to distill into a few words………….what does it mean to you?
Christine
christine!
what i know about love…it takes time. it happens in seconds sometimes but to really bloom it takes much more. and it doesn’t bloom when you think it does- when you look into each others eyes at the beginning full of dreams and promise and hope. it truly blooms when you embrace after a painful fight and see hope and joy in this…it blooms often when it has been most hurtful.
and i know this about love:
it doesn’t have to be hard.
even though at the moment i’m in the phase when it seems the hardest, most painful thing. but tomorrow i know it will be time to bloom in the sunlight.
I wish I knew more.
I know that it makes me a different person. I know it makes me cry a lot for good and bad reasons. I know it turns my life around.
Love is the only gift the universe gave us that cuts through the duality of life. Love transcends all. Love all.
I know love motivates the very best in me.
I know love hurts like hell sometimes.
I know love motivates the very best in me.
I know love hurts like hell sometimes.
I know…
it is utterly entirely all there is worth being
attentive to.
it is worth everything that comes with it
“the pain now is part of the happiness then…”
which will make the happiness later even more
exalting.
Love is a mixture of passion and commitment. Feeling like you are sometimes on a roller coaster ride while at other times canoing in a calm lake. Knowing that someone is there for you but that will push you when you need to be pushed and that you can do the same for this person.
How was your semester? Are you on break now?
Love not only makes the world go round….but it also makes the ride worthwhile
Love makes me brave enough to risk doing things differently. To chuck safety over my shoulder as I skip into the unknown.
love today has filled me up with magic.
Love is something that happens in that part of the brain which is between your ears plugged with an ipod.
I had posted this on my blog on the 17th of dec 07
