I made a mistake
Today and did not
Have the courage
To admit the truth.
And so I dug up a
Pit and hid the truth
In it.
Over time, over
Night the thing in the
Pit grew and grew and
One day someone else
Found it before I could
Tell them. And then
Everybody knew. And
I wished
I’d told
The truth
Then.
